Pork Chops with Peach and Pecan Chutney

You cannot get any more Southern than with this recipe for  PORK CHOPS WITH PEACH AND PECAN CHUTNEY.  It gets even more Southern with the addition of bourbon in the chutney.  When cooking pork chops on the stove top, make sure the skillet is coated with oil and hot before placing the pork chops in.  Cooking time should take between eight to ten minutes depending on the thickest of the chops.  Below is the topping for the Peach and Pecan Chutney.

IngredientsPeach & Pecan Chutney (for 6 pork chops)
2 peaches, chopped
1/3 cup pecan, chopped
2 tablespoons bourbon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions
On medium/high heat in a medium-sized sauce pan, stir all the ingredients together making sure to coat all the peaches and pecans. Cover and cook for five to seven minutes making sure to stir occasionally.
